About the Author

If Alynda Carroll had to boil down her interests into one phrase, she would say it was in the "womanly arts." Author of the popular and bestselling The Art of the Bath series, Alynda has had a lifelong interest in creating homemade beauty and bath products, but she also finds herself following a path that leads to a simpler more natural lifestyle. She loves learning new ways of doing things that are simpler, easier, and less expensive. Guided by the gifts and experiences of her mother and grandmother, Alynda looks forward to writing more books and sharing her discoveries.

Ever since she was a child, Alynda has reveled in bubble baths, lotions, and make-up. She loved helping her mom with beauty recipes. As she grew older, her interests expanded to include herbs, essential oils, aromatherapy and the art of the bath as it is today. Now she's taking what she's learned and sharing it with others.
