Performer Notes
  • Roses is the Cranberries' sixth album and first studio effort in over ten years following the band's 2001 album Wake Up and Smell the Coffee. Recorded in Toronto in 2011, the album features production from longtime producer Stephen Street, who worked on Wake Up as well as the band's 1993 debut Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? and 1994's No Need to Argue. Set for release in 2012, the album includes the singles "Show Me the Way" and "Tomorrow." ~ Matt Collar
Professional Reviews
Rolling Stone (p.65) - 3 stars out of 5 -- "[The] LP brims with Celt-tinged dream pop, as Dolores O'Riordan's broad singing melts into cardigan-cozy jangle."

Magnet (p.53) - "[L]ead single 'Tomorrow' finds Noel Hogan getting back in touch with his inner Johnny Marr."

Billboard (p.32) - "[I]t reveals its creators to be in surprisingly fine fettle....[O'Riordan] ascends to the top of her spine-tingling range by the first chorus of the first tune 'Conduct.'"
